Lunch with Natl PFLAG Western Region Field Rep & Kathy Reims from Tacoma, WA @ Pendleton, OR

Some or all of you may have already received this message. I'm making plans to go down to Pendleton from Spokane to attend. If anyone has something they want to send down, I'll be happy to stop at Coeur d'Alene, Lewiston/Clarkston, Pullman/Moscow and all points in between. If anyone wants to go down, I'll have 4 seats available and can coordinate pickup times. Will be returning via reverse route same day. Please RSVP to me for a ride ASAP, but no later than Friday, March 20. Please RSVP to Vickie Read (see below) ASAP as well.

My planned route (roughly) will be modified/shortened if some stops are unnecessary. Thanks!

Hi everyone!!!! Nice to have a temperature higher than 32 degrees huh!

I want to extend an invitation to each and everyone of you to join me on Monday, March 23rd for lunch with the National PFLAG Western Region Field Rep Cesar Hernandez and our own Western Region Representative, Kathy Reims from Tacoma Washington area. They are making a special effort to drive to Pendleton from Portland to meet with PFLAG folks in this area. (They were only going to go as far as The Dalles originally but I whined quite a bit and they agreed to come all the way over! It would be great to have a big turnout if possible. Cesar is from California and flying in to do a Washington, Oregon visit.)

Suzann Chapman the new mom from LaGrande that is trying to get a chapter started will be there, plus Patricia Keeney ( Past state president) from Portland will join us. We may also be able to get some of the Walla Walla and Tri-Cities folks here as well. I need to have some kind of an idea how many will attend to try to figure out where we should meet. Also if you have a good suggestions for a restaurant with a great meeting room that fairly private, that would be good also. I thought either Hamley's (don't know the cost of a private room) or Sherry's has a great meeting room if its available.

Please let me know this weekend if you will be able to join us on Monday March 23rd. I assume noonish. I will be sending out more specific information later in the weekend. Hope to see you there.

Warmly, Vickie
